Biography
Allen Ponziani was born near Boston, Massachusetts. When he was a young boy, his parents decided to move back to Maine where Allen grew up along its rocky coastal shores.
Allen attended the Bath area schools, continuing his education at Maine College of Art (MECA) earning his B.F.A. in Sculpture. His love for teaching others inspired him to further his education earning a Art Teacher Accreditation at the University of Southern Maine.
Today, Allen is a successful Maine artist, showcasing his beautiful creations in a wide variety of venues, to include his own recently opened gallery, the Aurora Bay Gallery. While creating art will always be a major part of what he does, teaching others to embrace their potential through creativity will never be far behind.
